Welcome to the website of 4O.
There are 28 students in this class and each of us comes from a different
cultural background. We are from Vietnam, China, New Zealand and Samoa. It is a multicultural classroom and we are so lucky!
In Science, students are learning about the life cycle of plants and the process of germination. Students are provided with hands on experiences to view and closely observe flowers and the role of fruit and seeds. Towards the end of the unit, students conduct their own investigations related to plant and conditions for growth.
In HSIE, students are learning all about National Parks. The features
of national parks. The similarities and differences between NP's The
different uses for NPs and the impact these uses have on the
environment. Students are leanring about what are national parks used
for and why are national parks special? We are learning about the
importance of the natural environment to Aboriginal
culture.
